A New Perspective: My Survivorship Journey
As a 12-year breast cancer survivor, my journey has profoundly reshaped my perspective on life and the world around me. The experience of battling cancer and living with the long-term effects of treatment has instilled in me a deep appreciation for life, a reevaluation of my goals, and a commitment to living with purpose and intention.
**A New Perspective on Life**
Cancer has taught me the fragility and unpredictability of life. Surviving such a life-altering illness has made me more grateful for each day and more mindful of the present moment. I have learned to cherish small joys and find beauty in everyday experiences. This shift in perspective has encouraged me to prioritize my well-being and focus on what truly matters, such as spending quality time with family and friends, nurturing my passions, and maintaining a positive outlook.

Before my diagnosis, my goals were largely career-driven, with a focus on climbing the corporate ladder and achieving professional success. However, cancer forced me to reassess my priorities.
